India: what changes for your raids
In India, the Festival of Lights returns from Friday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. It is exclusive to Trainers in India. Pikachu wearing a saree and Pikachu wearing a kurta appear in raids. If you’re lucky, they can be shiny or have a Special Background.
Sparkle O’Clock: at 6:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. local time, some Pokémon appear more often in the wild for five minutes. They include Charmander, both Pikachu (Special Background possible), Chinchou, Mareep, Camerupt, Litwick, Lampent, Morelull, and Tadbulb. All can be shiny.
Bonuses
3× Lure Module duration. Lures attract Charmander, Chinchou, Mareep, Camerupt, Litwick, Lampent, Morelull, and Tadbulb more often, shiny possible.
Stickers of both Pikachu when you spin PokéStops.
Some event Pokémon glow.
Research
Branched Timed Research, available from Sunday, November 1, at 6:00 a.m. local time: XP, Stardust, stickers, and an encounter with one of the two Pikachu with a Special Background, shiny possible.
