Getting Zygarde

10% Forme Zygarde comes from the Zygarde Special Research, released in July 2023: its step 3 gives it to you, along with the Cube that holds the Cells. Without the Cube, no Cells appear.

Collecting Cells

Cells appear on Routes as a small green glimmer: usually after 500 meters, often near the end of the Route. Each gives 1, 2 or 3 Cells; a longer Route gives better odds. Three Cells per day at most, and only the first time you follow a Route that day: no need to walk it again.

Some research and GO Passes have also given a batch at once, like the Road to Kalos pass (50 Cells).

Changing Forme

From Zygarde's screen, the Change Forme button uses the Cells in the Cube: 50 to go from 10% to 50%, then 200 more for Complete Forme. The Cube holds 300 at most: enough to do both at once.
