What changes for your raids and Max Battles
Starting with the Into the Wild event, you can activate select Adventure Effects from the lobby of a raid or a Max Battle, including Zacian’s Behemoth Blade and Zamazenta’s Behemoth Bash. In Dynamax Battles, the lobby also gives you two ways to join a group: Battle, which matches you with other players, or Private Group, which asks for a group code.
A background on your profile
From November 6 at 10:00 a.m. local time, you and your friends will see your buddy Pokémon’s background on your profile: first the GO Wild Area 2026 Location Backgrounds for Sendai and Mexico City, then, from November 9 at 10:00 a.m. local time, the event Special Background and every Location Background released so far.
Steel or Dragon Special Research
On Saturday, November 14, at 10:00 a.m. local time, Trainers with a global event ticket from the Pokémon GO Web Store pick their path. The Steel Scholar or Dragon Defender medal then grants 1 extra Candy XL (level 31 and up) and 1,000 extra Stardust per mighty Pokémon of the chosen type, until Sunday, November 15, at 6:00 p.m. local time. In Sendai and Mexico City, a ticket gives access to both medals.
What to plan for: GO Pass: Into the Wild and its Deluxe version run from Monday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 15, at 6:00 p.m. local time. The GO Wild Area 2026 Tee (Purple) is free, the Duraludon Pants are Deluxe only, and everything can be claimed until Tuesday, November 17, at 11:59 p.m. local time. The Duraludon Helmet, the Gigantamax Duraludon Backpack and the Fighting-Type Jacket stay on sale after the event.
Pokémon caught in GO Safari Balls can now be sent to Pokémon HOME, where the ball shows as a Strange Ball. Ticket add-ons are active from Friday, November 6, through Sunday, November 8, 2026, and the maps of the real-world events are online, for Sendai • Tohoku and for Mexico City. The rest is in the official announcement.
