From November 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time, your Trainer profile shows your buddy Pokémon’s Location Background, starting with the GO Wild Area 2026 Location Backgrounds for Sendai and Mexico City. From November 9 at 10:00 a.m. local time, the GO Wild Area 2026 Special Background and every Location Background released so far are added.
Your friends can see that background too, from 10:00 a.m. in their own local time. More Special Backgrounds will follow later.
