Gigantamax Machamp for your Max Battles

What changes for your Max Battles

From Friday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 8, at 11:59 p.m. local time, a free Timed Research is waiting for every Trainer. Just log in during that window to receive it. Its main reward is an encounter with Gigantamax Machamp, a Fighting-type Pokémon.

That makes it a direct answer to Gigantamax Duraludon, a Steel- and Dragon-type Pokémon: our data shows it takes extra damage from Fighting attacks. Our numbers also put Keldeo and Conkeldurr among the good picks.

The rewards: the Gigantamax Machamp encounter, Machop Candy and Candy XL, and Max Particles. If you’re lucky, the Machamp you meet will be shiny. Once caught, it lands between 1,667 and 1,746 CP, or 2,084 to 2,183 CP in cloudy weather, which boosts it.

Don’t forget: the tasks must be completed and their rewards claimed before Sunday, November 15, at 11:59 p.m. local time. Good preparation for Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global, on November 14 and 15.
