The Natural Form, then the rest
A Furfrou caught in the wild has the Natural Form. Every other trim is applied afterwards from the Pokémon's screen, with the form change button: 25 Candy and 10,000 Stardust each time.
Regional trims
Six trims can only be applied while you are in their region: Diamond in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Debutante in the Americas, Star in Asia-Pacific, and three single-country trims: La Reine in France, Kabuki in Japan, Pharaoh in Egypt.
For the others, a friend who lives there can trade you a Furfrou that already has the trim.
The Heart Trim
It can only be applied during Valentine's Day events, as in February 2026. Keep some Candy aside for then.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a trim change cost?
25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust, every time. Going through all ten trims costs 250 Candy and 100,000 Stardust.
Can I get a regional trim without travelling?
Not by changing the trim yourself: you have to be in the region. But a friend who lives there can trade you a Furfrou that already has it.
Does a Shiny Furfrou stay Shiny?
Yes. Changing the trim of a Shiny Furfrou gives the same trim in Shiny.
